    Payments

You will receive an email containing your bill during the first week of each month, covering lessons scheduled for that month. All payments must be made within 3 days of receipt.

Lessons are provided on a subscription basis, determined by the number of lessons scheduled per week. Your monthly charge reflects this subscription and remains in place for the duration of the billing month, subject to the terms set out below.

For any enquiries, please contact: WhatsApp on +44 7928 511273 or email: almahirinstitute0@gmail.com

    Lesson Schedule Changes

    Increasing Lesson Hours

Students may request an increase in weekly lesson hours at any time.

Where an increase is requested after the monthly bill has been issued, one of the following will apply:

    • A further bill will be issued for the additional lessons, or
    • The additional, unbilled lesson hours will be added to the following month's bill.

The applicable method will be determined by the administration team.

    Reducing Lesson Hours

Requests to reduce weekly lesson hours must be made in advance and will take effect from the following billing month only.

Any request to reduce lessons made mid-month will not take effect immediately. The existing lesson schedule and subscription rate will remain in force until the end of the current month.

A revised lesson schedule and new monthly rate will apply from the start of the next month.

    Attendance & Cancellations

    Cancellation of Lessons or Subscription

All cancellations of lessons or subscriptions must be submitted in advance and will apply from the following billing month only. No refunds or credits are issued for the current billing month once it has commenced.

To cancel or amend a subscription for the next month, students must:

    • Inform their teacher, and
    • Notify the finance administration team via WhatsApp on +44 7928 511273

Notice must be provided before the start of the new month. Requests received after the month has begun will apply to the subsequent billing cycle.

Consistency is essential for progress. However, if a student is unable to attend a lesson, it is their responsibility to notify their teacher at the earliest opportunity.

Where a lesson is cancelled by the student, a reschedule may be offered at the teacher's discretion, subject to availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

Any lessons missed due to the teacher (for any reason) will be either:

    • Rescheduled within the same month as a make-up lesson, or
    • Credited to the following month.

    Missed Lesson Allowance

Missed lesson credits and make-up lessons are available only to students attending four (4) or more lessons per week.

Students attending fewer than four lessons per week have no missed lesson allowance. No credits or make-up lessons will be provided for missed or cancelled sessions, regardless of notice, except in exceptional circumstances, which will be reviewed at the sole discretion of the administration team.

    Conditions for Credit

(Applies only to students attending 4+ lessons per week)

    • A minimum of 24 hours' notice must be given to the teacher. Lessons cancelled without sufficient notice are not eligible for credit.
    • Where adequate notice is provided, students may request a make-up lesson within the same month. Teachers will endeavour to accommodate such requests, subject to availability.
    • If a lesson is cancelled with sufficient notice but not rescheduled, the applicable credit will be applied to the following month's bill.
    • All decisions regarding credits are final.

    Arabic Group Lessons

The missed lesson allowance applies equally to Arabic group lessons.

Students attending fewer than four lessons per week are not eligible for credits or make-up lessons for missed group sessions.

Students attending four or more lessons per week may qualify for credits or make-up lessons, subject to the conditions outlined above.

    Holidays & Breaks

All holiday and break requests must be submitted in advance and will apply from the following billing month only.

Students are not permitted to pause or take a break within the same billing month. For example, a break required in February must be requested in January.

No refunds or credits will be issued where a student chooses to take a break after the billing month has commenced.

Where correct notice is given, students may take a break of up to two weeks, during which their agreed lesson days and times will be reserved and will not be chargeable.

For breaks exceeding two weeks, we cannot guarantee retention of the original lesson days, times, or teacher.

Upon return, students may be reassigned based on availability.

Students wishing to retain their original lesson slot beyond the two-week allowance must continue payment, and such lessons will remain chargeable.

All holiday and break requests must be agreed with the teacher and confirmed by contacting the finance administration team via WhatsApp on +44 7928 511273.

    Information Required

Please provide the following details via WhatsApp or use our online form:

    • Teacher's name
    • Holiday or break start and end dates
    • Student's full name (and child/children's full name(s), if applicable)

    Homework & Independent Study

Completion of homework set by the teacher is essential to progress. Students who engage consistently with lesson material outside scheduled classes demonstrate stronger progress and improved retention.

    Other Important Information

Students should retain a record of their scheduled lesson days and times, which will also be communicated by email. Students must be signed in 5–10 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure lessons begin promptly.

Teachers may occasionally be delayed due to preceding lessons. We appreciate your understanding in such circumstances.

Where possible, students are strongly encouraged to keep cameras switched on, as visual demonstration is essential for accurate pronunciation in Arabic and Qur'anic recitation.
